Blog > Style him up this Father’s Day 19th June

A survey carried out last year stated that “37 is the age men give up on style”.
Is this true of the man in your life?  If so, then my handy tips should help style him up this Father’s Day.

1. Switch His Shoes
If eyes are the window to your soul, then shoes are the window to your style. Swap out his beat-up trainers for a current pair in on-trend colours – instant update!

3. Get Him Great Jeans
It’s a wardrobe staple for most men.  He lives in them all weekend and for some, through the week too.  He needs three casual pairs if he wears jeans during the week, two if not, and two smarter pairs.  Getting a good fit, cut and shade will transform his look from sloppy to stylish.

4. Ditch The Slogan Tee
After the teenage years slogan tees on men can look a little tacky. Instead encourage him to wear a polo shirt or simple tee in one of his best colours (which will make him appear more youthful too!)

5. Watch It
A great Father’s Day gift and an instant style update in one – a classic, sophisticated watch will complete any outfit.

6. Hair Care
As a general rule, he needs a regular cut to keep it looking good. He should choose a cut that suits his style.  If your man wears his hair longer, encourage him to ensure it’s properly styled before he leaves the house. Going bald? Combover be gone! Take him to get his head shaved and let him rock a bare scalp without shame!

5. Belt Up
A simple accessory to smarten up a look in an instant. A leather belt will help his trousers sit (and stay up!) better.
